October 20th 2011
For about seven and a half years I have chosen one photo I’ve taken from each day to represent that day, and saved it in an OCD filing system on my computer. When I have difficulty chosing a photo from one day, I ask myself what the most honest representation of that day will be to me in the future; often I end up picking a photo that isn’t especially nice or interesting, or, recently, a low res screen capture or a Photobooth photo. To me this is a combination of cool and embarrassing, much like the project itself.
